


1. On World Environment Day 2021, Ali Abdo, in collaboration with EC4SDF, kick- started “The Ride to 2030 Initiative” by embarking on a 1000km journey on an electric motorcycle within 24 hours. This feat aimed to exemplify sustainable transportation and underscore the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs). The Initiative garnered support from the Ministry of Environment, Youth and Sports and the presidential initiative “Live Green.”
2. On September 17 Day 2021, at The New Alamain, The Initiative achieved the first Guinness world record for electric vehicles in 24 hours to promote sustainable transportation and sustainable cities, doing 920 km in 24 hours, in partnership with the presidential initiative “Live Green.” And the Ministry of Environment, Youth and Sports and the privet sector.


3. On World Environment Day 2022, the Initiative organized a ride around the Nile Delta, highlighting the impacts of climate change in this vital part of Egypt, as emphasized by (IPCC). The Nile Delta boasts highly fertile lands and is home to millions of impoverished farmers and fishermen, whose livelihoods must be advocated for. By urging major greenhouse gas emitters to reduce carbon emissions and support affected communities, this Initiative earned recognition as one of the most impactful endeavours by the United Nations Enviornment Programme(UNEP). The Ride visited cities such as Suez, Ismailia, and Damietta, engaging with local communities and government officials. The governor of Damietta hosted the Initiative, enabling youth to gain valuable insights into the realities of climate change.
4. On October 10, 2022, in collaboration with UNDP, USAID, the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, and private sector sponsors, “The Ride to COP27” spanned 30 days and covered 12,749 km, concluding in Sharm El-Sheikh. and achieved two “Guinness World Records”: the world’s longest journey on an electric motorcycle and the longest journey by an electric motorcycle within a single country. Moreover, the Initiative garnered praise from His Excellency the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. and multiple esteemed global organizations and received extensive media coverage in various languages.
